TIBBS HOLLOW
CAR PARK AND PICNIC SITE
A footpath across the field leads to Metlands Wood (circular walk with hard surface) and the start of what was the Roman aquaduct to Dorchester. There are several places to stop and sit. See how many different fungi you can find, especially after wet weather in the Autumn
The fern-lined path at the eastern end of Metlands Wood leads to an information board about the Roman Aquaduct which provided Dorchester with clean water The ferns are growing out of a wall which was once a ha-ha built to improve the view across the Park
