not a good photograph

but they are very wary birds

both of these were about 30cms.  I have seen a full grown grass snake cross the track here but far too fast for me to photograph

The adult slow worm was travelling fast but the young one was dead on the pavement

A trout in a deep pool but the sun was on him and this was a very lucky shot
