Frampton Village Cricket Team
18 over evening match against Churches United at Kingston Maurward May 7th 2008
Result: Churches United by 10 runs
Readying for the off with preparations definitely in line with village cricket traditions
Churches United batted first in strong sunlight which must have given fielders facing into it some problems.  CU finished on 83 with strong bowling from Nigel and a fine catch from David helping to keep the score down
Frampton had a good opening innings, a middle collapse and then a rallying finale which was getting the CU skipper somewhat excited.  The last over,  needing 10 runs, was played in rapidly fading light which finally defeated the last standers
